<aside> 🤔 Ethics statement: In street photography, it is not generally possible to get the subjects’ consent (even, sometimes, after the photograph is taken). I only create photographs where the subjects are not identifiable, where I believe they would find the photograph satisfying, or, generally, both. I don’t believe that these restrictions are appropriate for all photography or even all street photography, but I believe that taking photographs of people in circumstances of personal difficulty requires more artistry, more training, or greater positive consequences (for example, when used in some journalistic contexts) than my work.
